    Looking for large Onesies

I am having no luck finding large (size 5 or larger) ONESIES. Isabel's newest trick is pulling her pants and diapers down which is definately not a good thing. I have seen special needs kids older and bigger than her wearing Onesies (snap between the legs and make access to the diaper more difficult) but I can't find them any where. I have looked on the web but am having no luck. I know I could sew some snaps onto a long tee shirt or something but am not very handy with a needle and thread and dont usually have free time for such projects. Does anyone know where I could find any onesies for big kids???

I found some for Tyler at Walmart. Jenn couldn't get the larger sizes in Kentucky...they ran out, but I was able to find some. I will be happy to look again and mail you some if you need them. I never had any luck finding XL, but I could get large Gerber Onesies.

The ones you bought for Tyler were XL(24months) though...those are nowhere close to a size 5.

I see if you click on bottoms at that special clothes website, they have jeans with room for a diaper!

We used to use the one piece footie pajamas but we would cut the feet off because William's feet would get too sweaty and Katherine's didn't even fit in the things. Those went up to quite a large size like 10, but I don't see them on Sear's website. That's where we used to get them.

I will be happy to look for you though, if you find a store that would have them!

Lands End has the footy pj's. The carry them in sizes up to 18/20 for big kids, but looks like they only have them in stock right now up to a 14/16.

The footie pajamas from Sears were one piece with a zipper running diagonally across the front and they had a snap tab that covered the top of the zipper at the neck. They were perfect for a problem like clothes removal, but I must say the material on the land's End PJs looks much softer!

You guys are awesome. Why didnt I just ask you to begin with? I love the special-clothes site and this is just what I need. YEAH! Izzy only has three pairs of overalls and she has been wearing them in rotation for the last two weeks since this all started. Now I can put her in two piece outfits and not look around and see her cute hiney poking out the top. Thanks everybody!!!!

Oh Chris, I did not even notice that because a couple of years ago they were all one piece. Sorry about that!!
